At the Helm
Just got back from Convergence in Atlanta.
There were 8,600 people packed into the World Congress Center. REACH had five
customers present. Dynamics GP 2010 was the highlight of Convergence and we
learned plenty about the new features and capabilities.
And now GP 2010 is available. We will be installing it at our newest customers
soon. A Service Pack is planned for August and we'll start upgrading existing
customers soon after. Call our CSR desk to get on the schedule.
We're hosting a Dynamics GP 2010 Launch Event at Heifer International on May
18th. You should have gotten a postcard and an email invitation with details.
Register at our website on the Events page. Space is limited, so register soon.
One of the hottest features in GP is the ability for your employees who don't
have a GP User License to access GP data via Excel, Word, SRS, etc. We'll be
showing this at our event. As I said, it doesn't require a GP User License, but
it does require a Business Portal/Dynamics Client for Office(DCO). Right now you
can acquire these licenses through the end of June for free. You'll just need to
pay for the nominal Enhancement Fee.
For our RMS customers, there is an exciting Feature Pack coming very soon
. It provides support for Vista, Windows 7, and SQL 2008. Among other thing, it
has a much improved centralized purchase order process for multi-store HQ users.
Call us for information about that.
Looking forward to seeing you at our GP 2010 Launch Event. Be there!
